What goes on in your head when things are continuously, unexpectedly going bad?
Let's say your bank account where you kept most of your money, got hacked, and you lost all of your life savings. Then, the same day, you get fired from your job and find out your long-term boyfriend wants to suddenly break up. You lose your financial security and the love of your life- the two aspects that were always so important for you.
Or perhaps you lose something else that is of the most value to you.
What do you do then?
What is your plan B? What do you do when your safety net, support bubble shatters?
Is there a point where after a certain amount of setbacks and hardships, you will give up altogether? And just what does giving up mean for you?
We want to feel safe and secure, but life cannot always feel or be that way. Sometimes bad things happen one by one, or even all at once. When the pressure gets too much, what does the overflow look like for you?
It is important to be honest about the thoughts and ideas that transpire in those hard moments. It's natural as humans to feel like giving up from time to time, especially when things get really hard, but giving up can look very different to each of us.
For some, giving up or being done, looks like getting a reality check, where you lower your standards and settle for something far less than what you wanted, or secretly know you deserve.
For some, giving up looks like quitting everything and moving up to the mountains (I have certainly considered this option!)
And for others, giving up can look like..... the end to your life.
Although it can feel like a lot, to all of you who read this, I hope you know that life does turn around.
You are not alone in this feeling. The same emotions you are feeling right now- chances are someone else in the Universe could be echoing the same ones too.
It does get better. MUCH better.
Hardships are a part of life and a hidden opportunity for growth (and I know it does not always feel like it, at least not right away!).
And an end to a chapter of your life can be the beginning of a different, much better chapter.
Life is about experiencing a wide range of emotions, feelings, and curveballs.
No amount of hardship is permanent. Everything in life is temporary, fleeting.
The difficult moments are opportunities in disguise for you to become the person you are meant to be. Life is an opportunity for you to be the person you have always wanted to be. The struggles are the paths that can allow you to come to the other side of your problems.
By being in this world, we all have our own share of suffering and hardships. No matter how hard it is, you can turn your life around. It may not happen the very second as most of us would like it to be, but it happens, piece by piece, step by step, when you try and do what you can in your power to bring your truest desire and wishes to surface.
The Universe does meet you halfway when you do your part. Results don't happen instantly. Things take time to unfold.
Give love and understanding to your difficulties. Remember that you are not alone. Good and bad things both happen to all of us, no matter how 'good' or 'bad' we are. Take it step by step.
The solution that you are looking for, is love that is already in you.
Your responsibility is to tap into the love that's already there.
