Beginnings are disguised as endings

Writer's picture: usha hamalusha hamal

When one aspect of life ends, something else begins to take its place. In life, it is never just an ending. As long as we are alive, the scenes will continue to roll.

Our beginnings get disguised as endings.

It is hard when something we cherish comes to an end. We often feel emotional and remain sad about certain, precious chapters of life coming to an end. Life is so short and fleeting. And we get afraid of losing what we have.

Any hint of good, or even just a sense of familiarity to what we have, we cling to it. Because we experience sadness, difficulty, hardships, we sometimes forget that their counterfeits exist too.

That this world is filled with variety of emotions.

In this cycle of life, things revolve around, turning pages when one page has been completed. Our actions can influence quiet a lot of the pages of the book, yet some things are beyond our control. Even with all the law of attraction we can muster, we cannot stop death, loss, or other unchangeable parts of life. Trying to stop the pages of the book from turning is impossible, yet we fight and resist.

There are certainly times when fighting and resisting is needed to make a change, yet there are times when it doesn’t change a thing, except perhaps frustrate us further.

So much resistance we hold in our minds, hearts and bodies. Resisting only magnifies and prolongs the inevitable. I personally hold a lot of stress, anxiety on my upper body, primarily the shoulders. It weighs me down.

So I am sharing the words to you that I say to me:

Stop fighting yourself so much. Release what you feel and let it go.

Breathe out the resistance that does not serve you. Lessen your burdens even just a little.

Say goodbye to what no longer serves you. Say goodbye to what served you well but has now ran its course.

Say goodbye to who and what you love that don’t belong in the next pages about to turn.

And welcome the next chapter with arms wide, as wide as you can. Let the new you come out and explore. Release your adventurous side so you can enjoy the gifts of life.

The next chapter awaits you.

Reflective Questions

Where in your body do you hold your stress, anxiety? *hint: look for an area that is often sore.

What is waiting for you in the next chapter of life?
